Speaking at a lowly attended Alliance coalition rally with just about 2000 people at the border town of Plumtree Matabeleland South on Sunday, Chamisa said that as soon as he gets into power he will end the ZANU PF culture of deploying people to work in areas where they can not speak the local language.
“As soon as we get into power we will solve the problem of teachers being deployed to work in areas where they can not speak the local language,” he said.
“When we are done with sorting the teachers we will then move to sorting out the nurses and the police who must also be able to speak local languages,” he added.
Chamisa was responding to wide spread calls by people from Matabeleland region for government to stop deploying teachers into areas where they can not speak the local languages.
In his address Chamisa also promised to turn the two very busy border towns in Matabeleland South, Beitbridge and Plumtree into big cities to show for the revenue generated at the two border posts.
Chamisa promised the gathering that his government will solve the country’s cash crisis in no time as they have rich partners on stand by to bring money into the country.
“We will solve this cash crisis in no time with the assistance of people like Tendai Biti who know how to run finances,” he said.
“We have strategic partners outside the country who are ready to plough funds into the country and they can not do this to the ZANU PF government which is full of corrupt thieves.” VIDEO ROLL:
